As nature on the Aar­nescht needs spe­cial pro­tec­tion, the Grand-Duke issued a reg­u­la­tion on the 1st of Feb­ru­ary 1988 defin­ing the dif­fer­ent pre­scrip­tions to be held con­cern­ing the pro­tec­tion of the Aar­nescht as a site with extra­or­di­nary nat­ur­al properties.
